Racing: Fischer eagles claim three-fold victory in Klingenthal (GER)


Simon Ammann (SUI, Fischer), Adam Malysz (POL, Fischer) and Gregor Schlierenzauer (AUT, Fischer) claimed three-fold victory for the Fischer eagles in Klingenthal (GER).

 

Simon Ammann won with jumps of 133 and 134 meters and took victory 6.7 points ahead of his brandmate Adam Malysz who made the podium for  the second time this season. The Swiss was thus able to improve his lead in the Overall World Cup.

 

Gregor Schlierenzauer completed the pure Fischer podium in third place and it was the first time that the extraordinary athlete from Austria was not on top of the podium in Klingenthal.

 

The former Nordic Combined athlete David Zauner (AUT, Fischer) convinced in fifth place ahead of his teammate Andreas Kofler (AUT, Fischer). Anders Jacobsen (NOR, Fischer) in seventh place and Michael Uhrmann (GER, Fischer) in ninth place likewise made the top ten.
